Welcome to Prior's Field

I hope this website gives you a feel for Prior's Field, but to really understand who we are, you should visit us and speak to the girls, staff and parents. You will be made very welcome.

At speech day our Head Girl was interviewed by a fellow prefect on her time at the school. Click here if you'd like to listen.

We are delighted to announce that Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE, will be coming to Prior’s Field on 27 November to present the annual Huxley Lecture. Tickets are now available on our school website Boxoffice at a cost of £14 per head. Prior’s Field students, as always, come free of charge.  Sir Ranulph Fiennes will also be speaking at Glive, Guildford later this year at the more expensive price of £19 per head. We hope, of course, that you will come to hear him speak at PF!

Described by the Guinness Book of Records as the “world’s greatest living explorer”, Sir Ranulph Fiennes has led 22 major expeditions to remote regions all over the world, including both Poles. He was the first explorer to cross the Antarctic unsupported. In 2009, aged 65, he climbed to the summit of Mt Everest and was the oldest Briton to do so. His expeditions include: the first polar circumnavigation of Earth; the discovery of the lost Arabian city of Ubar; the first hovercraft ascent of the longest river in the world; the first crossing of Antarctica and the Arctic Ocean and the first unsupported crossing of the Antarctic Continent.
