Head’s Segment, 7 July 2017

Girls have achieved on many different levels this week, beyond the classroom in a multitude of different environments – from a tennis academy in Madrid to punting in Oxford and coasteering in Pembrokeshire – during Activities Week. Thanks to the many staff who accompanied these trips and to the girls for approaching them with enthusiasm and exemplary behaviour.

We had celebratory mocktails for our Fifth Form this week, after their GCSE exertions and ahead of results day, and also said farewell to our fabulous Upper Sixth year group. We will miss their wonderful leadership and support to younger pupils, but know that we have a fantastic Lower Sixth group ready to take up the mantle.

It leaves me only to wish everyone a wonderful break over the summer; we look forward to welcoming your daughters back to school on Wednesday 6 September.
