It has been a week filled with fixtures for gymnastics, netball and hockey, and it has been especially busy for the U13 girls who have taken part in several matches this week.

Last week Saturday all age groups were involved with hockey matches against Highgate School. It was exciting to be playing new opponents and matches were highly competitive. Congratulations to U12 A&B, U13 A&B and U15XI teams who won their match.

On Tuesday, the U13 Gymnastics squad competed at the Surrey Floor and Vault competition at Putney High school. For many of them, it was their first competition having to perform a routine to music on the floor and execute two vaults. All girls performed well which resulted in the team finishing 12th out of 17 schools.

In other matches, the U13 A&B netball and hockey teams played really well and won all of their matches against Royal Russell and Sir William Perkins, respectively. The U13D netball team has also enjoyed a win against The Royal.

On Wednesday, the U13 A&B and U14 A&B netball teams took part in a triangular with St Cat’s and Guildford County School. Yet again, it was great to play against some different opposition with U14 A&B and U13B being successful against Guildford County.

Also this week the U15’s played hockey against Sir William Perkins and netball against Howard of Effingham. Linking well together and dominating possession of the ball earned them a win in both of these matches. The 2nd VII team had a very competitive fixture with Christ Hospital as play was end to end throughout the match. Well done to the team who came away with a very close 16-15 win.
