Hockey Quarter Finalists: The team had a fantastic day at the County tournament on Tuesday. Achieved some well-earned wins against CLFS and St George’s. Qualifying for the quarter finals we drew to RGS which lead to penalty flicks which we unfortunately lost. Well done everyone!

A Stormng Opportunity for our youngest Netball Fans: Several of our youngest budding netballers enjoyed the opportunity to be ball girls for Surrey Storm last weekend.

Eco Girls Efforts to Save on Electricity: First Form Eco reps have been busy creating light switch signs to encourage the whole school to switch off and save the planet.
English Translated into Greek for First Form: The art of the tragic mask marked the end of First Form’s unit on Greek Tragedy in English today.
Breck Foundation Talk on On-line Safety: We were so privileged to welcome Mrs LaFave who spoke so honestly and poignantly about the dangers of on-line grooming and how to work together as a community to try and prevent similar tragedies to that of her Son Breck who was murdered by someone he met on-line.
Debating Debut Success in London: First and Second Form came back triumphant from Monday Evening’s London Junior Debating League having taken to the floor with great aplomb and success in both the prepared and unprepared debates, with several girls taking part or taking new roles for the first time. Well done to Georgia and Poppy (First Form) and Sophie, Robyn, Erin, Lily and Freya (Second Form).
Latin Trip to Aquae Sulis – Third and fourth year Latin students visited the Roman Baths in Aquae Sulis – better known as Bath and were equally impressed by the hot springs and archaeological finds and the bonus of the Christmas market!

Tennis Tournament Success: Sophie (Second Form) and Jessenia (First Form) did brilliantly last weekend in a really strong tournament (some of the best U14 players in UK were on the draw) in the prestigious Grade 3 at Sutton Tennis Tournament U14 category. They both won two out of four matches , Jessenia won one of her matches vs the top 70 in UK in the U14 category (Jessenia is still an U12 player.
Selected for Surrey Schools Cross Country Competition: Our congratulations go to Katie, Flo and Jessenia picked for U13 and Christina picked for the Junior Girls’ Team.
