General & Extra Subject Fees for the Academic Year

September 2010 – July 2011

Boarders £7660 per term
Day Girls £4735 per term  

N.B. Fees include all lunches, drinks and snacks at morning and after school breaks and over 40 clubs and activities.

Public Examinations: Fees for public examinations e.g. GCSEs, AS and A Levels will be charged in advance at the rate in force at the time.

Music: Fees are paid direct to the teacher, who will invoice in
advance. The number of lessons per term may vary but we aim to provide thirty lessons per school year.

Individual Instruments: £17.50 per lesson
Singing: £17.50 per lesson
Theory: £17.50 per lesson

Speech and Drama: Invoiced by the School in advance. The number of lessons per term may vary but we aim to provide thirty lessons per school year.

Pairs (years 10 & 11) £10.50 per lesson
Groups of 3 (year 9) £10.00 per lesson
Groups of 4 (years 7 & 8) £9.50 per lesson

Tennis: Fees are paid direct to the tennis coach, who will invoice in
advance.

Please note that the tennis coach cannot guarantee a group of a particular size, as pupils are placed in groups according to ability. If you opt for group tuition, you will be invoiced according to the size of the group in which your daughter is placed.

Riding: Invoiced by the School in arrears

Group £26.00 per hour
plus transport costs (which are currently approximately £8 per return journey)

Please note that lessons are taken in groups, and that the number of lessons per term may vary, but will normally be between 9 and 12. Parents will be charged for each lesson scheduled.

Learning Support: Invoiced by the School in arrears

Individual £24.00 per lesson

Extra Tuition: Invoiced by the School in arrears (other subjects)

In addition academic departments run subject specific workshops for girls who would like extra help during lunchtimes or after school, free of charge.

All boarders' fees are inclusive of meals. School lunch, school breaks and after school snacks are inclusive of day fees. Day girls are welcome to join boarders for a meal before or after school where an extra charge will be made.

Exeat Weekends: Girls are expected to spend exeat weekends with their parents or guardians. Where this is not possible, the charge per weekend is £75. The School will be closed for the weekend of the May Bank Holiday (30 April – 3 May 2010) when this facility will not be available.

Weekend Activities:

There are two trips for boarders each weekend, one of which is compulsory. These are charged to parents' accounts (costs vary from theatre tickets and coach travel to London, to tea locally).
