Prospective boarders can sample the opportunities and challenges of boarding in the Boarding Taster weekends which are held in the Autumn & Spring Terms. Boarders who enter the school at the age of 11 enjoy sharing a room with two or three others. As girls get older they may prefer the option of individual rooms.

Boarders are in the care of a resident Head of Boarding, who is also a member of the teaching staff. Each boarding house has its own Housemistress and dedicated residential staff. They encourage students to acquire sound attitudes to study and make effective use of the School's rich recreational facilities.
