Prospective boarders can sample the opportunities and challenges of boarding in the Boarding Taster weekends which are held in the Autumn & Spring Terms. Boarders who enter the school at the age of 11 enjoy sharing a room with two or three others. As girls get older they may prefer the option of individual rooms.

Boarders are in the care of a resident Head of Boarding, who is also a member of the teaching staff. A Housemistress, as well as other residential House staff assist her. They encourage students to acquire sound attitudes to study and make effective use of the School's rich recreational facilities.
