Working for A levels demands commitment and the boarding team is experienced in guiding the boarders through this demanding time. However, they also recognise the importance of balancing work with time to develop other skills and interests and leaving time to relax and enjoy life.
With this in mind the boarders are able to access various evening activities. Some of these are whole sixth form events and others are solely for boarders.
The sixth form boarders also have the privilege of using the school gym in the evenings or attending the weekly Zumba classes run in school. They are also allowed to run off site during day light hours and in a group. Less organised but equally enjoyable are activities such as baking, using the music room facilities, a girls pamper evening or movie night.
The house staff also arrange to take the girls off site for activities so they can all enjoy some time together away from school. The boarders help plan these outings and recently bowling, cinema and Airhop have been popular requests.
