All girls whose parents reside overseas must have an official guardian resident within the UK. This guardian must be at least 25 years old, and is responsible for the girl's travel and accommodation at exeats, half terms and holidays.
Prior's Field encourages guardians to participate in all aspects of school life, from attending sporting fixtures and drama productions to parents' evenings and boarding forums. Guardians are also welcome to visit the school, call the boarding staff for regular updates on the girl's progress and arrange to take them out for tea/dinner.
Please note - it is school policy to ask parents to take their child home if they have a contagious illness. Parents who reside overseas and are unable to do so, should make the guardian aware that they will also have responsibility for collecting the child and providing accommodation and care until she is fit to return to school.
