Parent Staff Association (PSA)

Welcome from the Chair

The Parent Staff Association (PSA) is made up of parents, with each of the year groups represented, and a number of members of staff.

The aim of the PSA is to raise funds for the school by means of social events, which also give parents the opportunity to meet each other.  Some events are purely for this purpose and not for raising money.  The PSA is extremely well supported by the Form Representatives, who help to pass on information to parents about events and who come to lend a hand whenever necessary.

Primarily, we raise funds for the school for those little extras that are not catered for by the school budget.  The other aim is to raise funds for the PF Foundation and chosen charities.  The Prior’s Field Foundation was launched in 2012 (PF’s 110th year) to support new building projects, additional items for current pupils through the Annual Fund and funds for Foundation Awards. These are bursaries which enable girls who are not in a financial position to attend PF, to join on fully funded places.

PSA Meetings

PSA Meetings

The PSA Committee meets with Mrs. Kirnig at the start of every term to discuss upcoming events and the school’s “Wish List” items.  The requests are for items that would be classed as luxuries or extras; PSA money is never used for day to day school items.

Information from these meetings is then given to the Class Reps who, in turn, cascade the information down to all parents and guardians.  The PSA always welcomes new volunteers for roles large and small. If you would like to join the team, please do contact

Fiona ( or Maranne (

The next PSA and Class Rep meetings will be in held at the start of the Autumn 2016 term.

Second Hand Uniform

The Second Hand Uniform sales have always been very successful and are a major fund raiser for the PSA; everyone wins!

Purchasers can buy uniform at less than half the School Blazer cost

  • Sellers can opt to take 50% of sale price as commission
  • The PSA collects 100% from the sale of donated items
  • All proceeds go to the PSA funds that are then used to purchase items for the school

The process has recently changed and is more in line with how other schools operate.  Sellers are now asked to label their uniform before handing it into the school office, if you wish to donate uniform then simply mark the bag Uniform Sale – Donation.

For the labels and guidelines on how to sell items please go to the Parent Portal, School Documents, PSA, Second Hand Uniform
