Examination Results

Sixth form students celebrated another year of excellent A Level results. One fifth of all grades were A* with nearly half being A*/A and with 82% A* - C. In the creative arts over three quarters of students achieved A* or A and in maths and physics two thirds achieved these top grades. We are extremely proud of the girls who have worked very hard to achieve these results and we are delighted that so many will now go on to their first choice universities. Our approach as a school is always to encourage and inspire, rather than pressurise or ‘hot house’ and the students who are leaving will not only be well qualified, but they are well balanced, interesting and confident young women – a real credit to themselves and to their school.
