Last Sunday saw an early start for the first team of girls in the 70cm Arena Eventing class at Coombelands, West Sussex. The Prior’s Field team consisted of First Former Maya and Second Formers Emmie and Jess; they each had an unlucky few faults and were not placed this time. The next class was the 80cm-85cm class and the team was First Former Evie, Second Former Jess, Fourth Former Georgia and Fifth Former Georgina. Evie and Jess both did lovely clear rounds and were individually placed 5th and 10th respectively; Georgina had a very unlucky 1 pole for 4 faults and Georgia had a couple of poles, leaving the team on a final score of just 4 faults for a 1st place and qualification for the Eventers Challenge Finals at Hickstead in May.

The final class for the Prior’s Field team was the 90-95cm; this was the same team as for the previous class. Evie and Georgina had 4 faults each and Jess and Georgia had 8 faults each, giving the team a final score of 12 faults and earning them 4th place.

A massive well done to everyone for taking part and representing the school. Congratulations also to Fifth Former Georgina for coming 1st last Saturday at an Eventer’s Challenge competition at Tweseldown.
