This Week in Sports – U15 Surrey Tennis Champions Sailing Success & more.

Congratulations to Lower Sixth Former Daisy who – having won two matches in the qualifying draw – went on to win her first round in the main draw in a G-2 British Women’s Tour tennis tournament, beating the top 70 open ranking in the UK. Prior’s Field’s Director of Tennis, Jorge Martin Munoz, says, ‘This is Daisy’s biggest tennis individual achievement to-date and, I believe, the biggest achievement of any Prior’s Field tennis scholar so far. I am really proud of her and pleased that she is seeing the results of all her hard work.’

Our Surrey U15 tennis champions! A fantastic achievement – well done to Second Former Evie, Third Former Emma, Fourth Formers Brydie, Isabella, Jasmine and Pippi for taking the title at St George’s Weybridge.
Third Form sailors Jess and Emma, who came 35th out of 104 in the Itchenor Schools’ Sailing Week. The girls performed strongly in mixed conditions, varying from strong winds and boats capsizing on day one to calmer conditions, good winds and strong tides on the other two days.
Well done girls.
