Head’s Round Up: Friday 6 September 2019
The whole school took part in the feedback session at the end of Induction Day and it was clear that each year group had enjoyed their day and, what is more, benefited hugely from the bonding and learning activities that staff had arranged. As Head, it was lovely to see all the girls together in one place, excited and enthusiastic, ready to start the new school year.
This week, we were thrilled to see the extremely positive review of Prior’s Field in the Tatler Schools Guide 2020 (The top prep and public schools in the UK). Josie Cook, our Director of Admissions and Marketing and I are very much looking forward to our trip to London on Monday to the Tatler Schools Awards.
Next week is already looking busy. I look forward to meeting many of you on Tuesday at the First Form or Lower Sixth Information evening, or at the social event for all new and Lower Sixth parents. I am sure you will find the business part of the evening informative.
The boarding community are already preparing for a big night next week: ‘Boarders Got Talent’ on Wednesday. This is always an extremely fun event which helps new boarders truly feel part of their boarding house and well as providing an excuse for all the girls to embrace their inner diva.
On Thursday, we are all looking forward to our re-launched Clubs Carnival. Masterminded by Miss Curtin, this promises to be a fantastic display of the myriad of clubs that we have on offer at Prior’s Field. Parents are welcome to attend from 4pm and I challenge each and every one of you to find no club that you would like to join, were you in your daughter’s shoes.
With best wishes
