Welcome to the Prior’s Field Parent Staff Association.
All parents, guardians, teaching staff and non-teaching staff automatically become a member of the Association upon joining Prior’s Field, while parent volunteers enable the PSA’s activities that are overseen by the PSA Committee. The PSA committee is made up of parent volunteers from each year group and Prior’s Field staff, the current committee is listed in the table below.
Achieving through a community
The PSA’s aim is to foster another dimension to the very strong community spirit we enjoy at PF. We achieve this by arranging social evenings for parents in the autumn and spring terms, events such as the Christmas Fair and festive workshops, while on Sports Day we organise refreshments and the ever-popular annual Dog Show. Our second hand uniform sales are held twice a term and are very successful.
The PSA committee
The PSA committee is strongly supported by Class Representatives, who are parent volunteers, which provide the critical communication links between the committee and the wider community. Part of this vital role is to organise class events for parents to get to know each other within their classes and across the year groups.
While the PSA’s activities generate relatively small profits, we do not seek to raise money for charity as the students are very active in this respect. However, each year the PSA donates £5,000 to the Prior’s Field Foundation and then uses the remainder to purchase items, not normally funded by the school, for use by our girls.

Information on Class Reps and PSA members can be found in the PSA folder in School Documents on the Parent Portal.
The PSA raises money through the £10 termly contribution from parents (via school bill) and events run by the PSA Commitee.
The money raised assists the school by providing extra equipment and opportunities, in addition to a donation to the Prior’s Field Foundation, specifically for bursaries. On occasion, we have also been able to make additional contributions to agreed Charities.
Events for Parents
The PSA typically organise an event per term, in the past we have arranged additional events such as a trip to Highgrove, wreath making workshops, Christmas shopping trip to Winchester Market, a tennis social – if you think of an event you would like the PSA to run then please contact the PSA Chair – PSAChair@priorsfieldschool.com
- Autumn Term – Parents’ Social & Christmas Fair
- Spring Term – Parents & Staff Social
- Summer Term – Sports Day Refreshments & PF Dog Show
Whilst the Christmas Fair is a major fund-raising event all the other events are aimed to provide opportunities for parents to socialise outside of the events run by PF.
The Christmas Fair attracts around 50 high quality external stall holders, many of whom book to return the following year as soon as the Fair is finished!
We aim to make it a real shopping event and have gifts, clothing and jewellery to meet many tastes. In addition, there are a few school stalls that are mainly aimed at fun for the girls such as the ever-popular Chocolate tombola, Secret Santa, a Nail bar and several others.
This year the Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday 28 November 11.00am – 3.00pm – details to be released closer to the time.
PSA Second Hand Uniforms
The Second Hand Uniform sales have always been very successful and are a major fund raiser for the PSA; everyone wins!
• Purchasers can buy uniform at less than half the School Blazer cost.
• Sellers can opt to take 50% of sale price as commission.
• The PSA collects 100% from the sale of donated items.
All proceeds go to the PSA funds that are then used to purchase items for the school.
For details of how to Sell uniform please go to the Parental Portal, School Documents, PSA for full instructions and labels
