Congratulations to Sixth Former Emma who has been selected to compete for the GB team in the Commonwealth Fencing championships this July. Amazing news Emma!

Mrs Horton is so proud of the Fifth Form GSCE Drama candidates and has congratulated them for performing with confidence and commitment on Monday whether on stage or in a design role. ‘There was such a range of talent from comedic stereotypes to naturalistic heartbreak. Each and every girl should feel proud of what they achieved giving of their best and supporting each other through the process. This particular group of girls really capture the ethos of our school community, working with love, hope and admiration, and striving to be the best they possibly can. It has been an absolute joy to teach them and watch their development in performance and skill over the last couple of years. Well done girls!’

Molly SkiingFirst Former Molly has been continuing her successful skiing season by bringing home three Gold medals at the Welsh Alpine Championships in Les Crozet, Switzerland. She won two giant slalom races and a slalom race. She then progressed to Megeve to participate in the Coupe de Bronze Mont Blanc region French Championship race, a very high standard race with all the best French girls representing their race clubs. Molly was outstanding, her second run set the fastest time (of both boys and girls), and she ultimately finished in first place. The next event is in Bormio for the English Alpine Championships. Good Luck, we are all so proud of you!

First Former Molly recently won both the Slalom and Giant Slalom ski events in the Artemis Anglo/Scottish Cup taking place in Crevacol, Italy. She skied very well in tough conditions, her hard work and summer training have really paid off.

Third Former Georgina represented Prior’s Field in a recent British Shooting Schools Pistol Championship for the SE, part of the Triathlon discipline in which she competes for Chiddingfold Pony Club.  This was her first Pistol competition, shooting from a distance of 10m at a Rifle Club in Leatherhead.  Georgina came 18th out of 35 competitors, with both boys and girls in the Intermediate class.
